Russia pounds Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro regions in coordinated air and artillery assault photo / video
More than 60 unmanned aerial vehicles were detected in the airspace over Kyiv and the surrounding Kyiv region, with additional groups continuing to enter from the north. The main targets of the ongoing attacks remain the capital and nearby areas.
According to the Voennoye Delo channel, Russia’s Black Sea Fleet and the Azov Flotilla also launched Kalibr cruise missiles at targets in Kyiv. Preliminary information indicates that the strikes damaged CHP Plant No. 6, partially putting the facility out of operation.

As a result of the Russian attack in the Kyiv region, one person was injured. The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Nikolai Kalashnik, reported that a truck driver from the Ivano-Frankivsk region sustained shrapnel wounds to his back and was hospitalised. In Vyshhorod, windows were damaged in a multi-story residential building. Damage was also recorded in the Boryspil district, where industrial facilities and two vehicles were affected.

Further incidents were reported elsewhere in the region. A fire broke out at a construction site in the Bucha district, while in the Obukhiv district a building belonging to a municipal enterprise in one of the communities was damaged. Ukrainian public channels claim that video footage circulating online captures the moment a Shahed-type drone struck a vehicle service station in Vyshhorod.
At the same time, Russian forces intensified strikes in the Zaporizhzhia region. Over the past 24 hours, 485 attacks were carried out on 22 populated areas, according to the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov. These included 11 air strikes, as well as attacks by 242 drones of various types, predominantly FPV drones. In addition, five strikes using multiple-launch rocket systems and 227 artillery attacks on populated areas were recorded. Authorities received 17 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities. No civilian casualties were reported.
In the evening, Russia again attacked the Pokrovske community in the Synelnykove district, using a guided aerial bomb (KAB). The strike caused a fire and damaged infrastructure facilities, along with six private residential houses. Separately, an FPV drone struck the city of Nikopol, damaging an administrative building.
According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Vladislav Gayvanenko, there were no fatalities or injuries in the region. Air defence forces, according to air defence command data, shot down two drones over the oblast. An air raid alert remains in effect.
