Russia's latest strikes on Ukraine plunge four regions into darkness

Russian forces have carried out strikes on energy infrastructure in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, leading to new large-scale power outages.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy reported the incident on its Telegram channel, saying that the situation is most severe in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where more than 60,000 consumers remain without electricity, per Caliber.Az.

In the Kharkiv region, the latest attack has left an additional 10,000 customers without power.

The ministry stressed that energy crews are working around the clock to restore electricity as quickly as possible.

In addition, adverse weather conditions have left 45 settlements in the Lviv region without power.
