Russia’s newest precision bomb reportedly spotted over Ukraine VIDEO

A new Russian precision-guided long-range bomb, the UMPD-5R, was reportedly spotted in the skies over the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih. A video showing the munition was published by the Osvedomitel group on the VKontakte social network.

The bomb is reportedly equipped with an advanced unified glide and guidance module with an extended range, as well as its own turbojet engine. This allows the munition to travel up to 200 kilometres.

The UMPD-5R’s guidance system is resistant to electronic warfare systems, giving the bomb a high degree of strike accuracy. The report also claims that the munition is invulnerable to Ukrainian air defence systems.
