Russia says five Mykolaiv logistics centers hit in military strikes

Russia’s Defence Ministry said on Wednesday, September 9, that its forces had struck five logistics centres in the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv and the surrounding region that it said were being used in the interests of Ukraine’s armed forces.

The ministry identified the facilities as centres belonging to Metro, ATP UTK, Nova Poshta, Mykolaiv-2 and Electrotechnics.

It also said Russian forces had struck a cargo terminal, a workshop producing unmanned aerial vehicles, two storage terminals and an electrical substation in the region, as well as four fuel storage tanks at a port.

“In addition, the servicemen struck a warehouse belonging to an enterprise producing unmanned boats in Kyiv and a dry cargo vessel carrying military supplies to the port of Odesa,” the Russian Defence Ministry said.

The ministry did not provide details on casualties or the extent of damage in the reported strikes. The claims could not be independently verified.
