Russia says it has downed drones over Kaluga, Belgorod regions

Two drones were intercepted by air defence means over the Kaluga region at about 13:50, Caliber. Az reports citing the Russian Ministry of Defence.

The local airport has introduced a plan "Kover" ("Carpet") in connection with this.

Earlier, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported on his Telegram channel that a Ukrainian drone had been shot down in the skies over the region.

"In the Valuysky district, electronic warfare equipment shot down a UAV without detonation in Dvuluchnoye village," Gladkov wrote.

According to him, there were no casualties and no destruction as a result of the attack on the UAV and its fall to the ground.
