Russia strikes Kyiv and Kharkiv, damaging offices and vehicles

Russian forces launched drone attacks on Kyiv and Kharkiv overnight, damaging buildings and vehicles and injuring at least four people, Ukrainian authorities reported, according to ASTRA.

In Kyiv, an office building caught fire in the Solomianskyi district after a drone crashed, the Kyiv City Military Administration said. Debris also fell at another location in the district.

Fragments were reported to have fallen in Kyiv’s Obolonskyi district as well. Preliminary reports indicated no damage or casualties there.

An air raid alert was declared again in Kyiv amid reports of incoming jet-powered drones, marking the fourth alert of the night.

In Kharkiv, four people were injured in a Russian drone strike in the Saltivskyi district, according to Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov.

The injured were identified as a 37-year-old woman, a 44-year-old man, a 53-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman. All four were receiving medical treatment, Syniehubov said.

The attack also damaged a two-storey residential building and caused a car to catch fire.
