Russia strikes Ukrainian coal company twice in 24 hours

Russian forces have attacked a coal facility operated by DTEK in the Dnipropetrovsk region for the second time in a single day, the company’s press service has reported.

The latest strike damaged administrative buildings at the site, Caliber.Az reports, citing the company.

The attack follows a deadly assault on February 1, when a miners’ bus was hit, killing 16 people.

In response, February 2 has been declared a day of mourning for the victims of the DTEK tragedy.
