Russia targets Ukraine with fresh wave of drones, missiles VIDEO
On the morning of November 19, the Russian military launched a combined attack on Ukrainian regions using strike drones and various types of missiles.
Late on November 18, Ukraine’s Air Force reported the presence of Russian drones over the Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions, Caliber.Az reports per RBC-Ukraine.
Kharkiv came under attack during the night of November 18 to 19, where a Silpo supermarket was destroyed, residential buildings and vehicles were damaged, and a fire broke out. Dozens of people were injured and evacuated from the area.
In the early hours of the morning, Ukrainian forces detected additional waves of Russian drones approaching from various directions, including western regions. Launches of Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea were also recorded, while the Kyiv City Military Administration confirmed the detection of a Kinzhal missile.
Russia additionally deployed a Tu-95 strategic bomber overnight, with cruise missiles observed in Ukrainian airspace by morning.
