Russian Aeroflot plane lands in Baku midflight due to passenger health emergency
A plane of the Russian Aeroflot airline, operating on the Moscow-Dubai route, has made an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, according to the airport’s press service.
The captain of the Aeroflot aircraft, flying from Moscow to Dubai, requested an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport due to the deteriorating health of one of the passengers, Caliber.Az informs.
"The Boeing 737-800 successfully landed at the airport at 06:27 local time. The passenger was promptly provided with the necessary medical assistance," the press service clarified.
The Baku-based airport noted that it regularly conducts training to ensure preparedness for emergency situations and to guarantee the safety of passengers and crew members.
