Russian air defense forces destroy over 150 Ukrainian drones in 24 hours

Russian Defense Ministry has said that Russian air defence (air defence) assets overnight destroyed and intercepted 158 Ukrainian UAVs over 15 Russian regions, including Moscow.

“During the past night, 158 Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs were destroyed and intercepted by on-duty air defence means during an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using unmanned aerial vehicles against facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation," the ministry said, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“Some 46 UAVs were destroyed and intercepted at night over the territory of the Kursk region, 34 over the territory of the Bryansk region, 28 over the territory of Voronezh region, 14 over the territory of Belgorod region, 8 over the territory of Ryazan region, 2 over Moscow, 7 over Moscow region, 5 - over the territory of Kaluga region, 4 - over the territory of Lipetsk region, 3 - over the territory of Tula region, 2 UAVs - over the territory of Tambov and Smolensk regions, one UAV - over the territory of Orel, Tver and Ivanovo regions,” the agency said.
