Footage from the scene has been circulating online.

The extent of the damage, whether there were any casualties, and the circumstances of the incident are still being clarified.

The strike was reported on Thursday, September 17, amid a broader Russian attack on Kharkiv. Ukrainian officials separately said a shopping centre in the city’s Osnovianskyi district had been struck, with preliminary reports indicating no casualties.
