Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia kills civilian, damage homes, vehicles
A 34-year-old man was killed as a result of another attack on the Zaporizhzhia region, the head of the Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, said on Telegram.
He clarified that the strike hit residential areas, causing damage to civilian infrastructure and vehicles.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 856 strikes on 29 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. The scale of the shelling covered both the regional centre itself and frontline communities, Fedorov added.
The administration's head noted that 14 airstrikes were recorded in total. In addition, 549 drones of various types—mainly FPV drones—attacked Zaporizhzhia and several settlements across the region.
There were also seven attacks using multiple launch rocket systems and 286 artillery strikes on several populated areas. As a result of the attacks, 30 reports of damage to residential buildings and cars were received.
