Russian drone again hits near Ukraine-Poland border crossing VIDEO

A Russian drone has again struck near the Yahodyn border crossing on Ukraine’s border with Poland.

Local channels have published video footage of the incident.

The latest strike comes after Russia attacked the area near the Polish border in mid-September. At the time, a drone exploded about four kilometers from the border, near the Yahodyn checkpoint.

The September 28 incident occurred on the Ukrainian side of the border, while Polish officials said Polish airspace was not violated. Poland scrambled military aircraft and temporarily placed its air defense forces on heightened alert following the strike.

According to Ukrainian officials, the blast wave damaged part of the checkpoint facility at the entrance to the terminal. No casualties were reported.
