Russian drone attack leaves civilians injured in Ukraine’s Kramatorsk PHOTO
Russian forces have carried out a combined overnight attack on the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk, leaving civilians injured and damaging residential buildings, local officials say.
The city’s military administration head, Oleksandr Honcharenko, said a Russian FPV (first-person view) drone struck a car in one of Kramatorsk’s neighbourhoods during the night of February 11 to 12.
Later, a Molniya-2 drone hit a multi-storey residential building in a sleeping district. Another drone of the same type reportedly targeted emergency service workers from Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (DSNS).
Additional strikes were also recorded in residential areas.
Preliminary reports indicate that two civilians were injured in the attacks – an 18-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman. Around 20 apartment buildings were damaged, according to local authorities.
