Russian drone attack on farm in Ukraine's Chernihiv kills 1,000 pigs PHOTO
Russian forces struck a farm in Ukraine’s Chernihiv Region, destroying several agricultural buildings, the regional branch of the National Police reported.
No civilian casualties were recorded, but around 1,000 pigs were killed in the attack, which also destroyed farm structures and equipment, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ukrainian government website.
A Russian UAV also hit the grounds of a forestry enterprise in the Chernihiv district, damaging an administrative building, a workshop, utility facilities, and several pieces of equipment, including a fire truck.

The Chernihiv Region, bordering Russia's Bryansk Oblast, has faced intensified Russian drone and missile activity since early 2025, with over 150 attacks on civilian targets reported this year alone by the regional administration. These strikes often coincide with periods of heightened diplomatic activity, such as the recent U.S.-brokered Ukraine peace talks in Geneva (November 23) and Abu Dhabi (November 25), where progress on a ceasefire was announced.
