Russian drone attacks injure woman, damage homes in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region
A Russian drone attack overnight injured a woman and damaged civilian property in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, local officials said.
The attack occurred in the Vasylkiv community of the Synelnykiv district, where a drone strike injured a 67-year-old woman, according to Vladyslav Haivanenko, the acting governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Caliber.Az reports.
He said the woman would receive outpatient treatment. He also added that a private house caught fire as a result of the strike, but the blaze was extinguished.
Haivanenko noted that Russian forces targeted the Nikopol district, striking the district centre with an FPV drone. No injuries were reported there.
Ukraine’s Air Force said air defences shot down three drones over the Dnipropetrovsk region.
