Russian drone strikes civilian car in Ukraine, injuring local resident
A Russian FPV drone struck a civilian vehicle in the Huliaipole area of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, injuring a 64-year-old resident, regional authorities reported on December 4.
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, the drone hit the car directly as it was travelling through the Polohy district. The impact caused severe damage to the vehicle.
Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene and provided the injured man with urgent medical assistance. His condition has not yet been disclosed.
Huliaipole, located near the front line, remains one of the most heavily targeted areas in the region, facing frequent drone and artillery attacks as fighting continues in eastern and southern Ukraine.
