Russian drone strikes hit Zaporizhzhia, injuring five PHOTO

On the night of February 23, Russian forces carried out drone strikes on the regional centre of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the State Emergency Service (SES) said.

The attacks injured five people, including one child, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Service's Telegram channel.

One strike hit an industrial building near a nine-story residential block. Emergency responders extinguished a fire covering 200 square metres. Nearby residential buildings were also damaged.

In another location, a strike hit an open area near residential neighbourhoods, damaging five five-story buildings and several parked vehicles.

All of the city’s emergency services responded to the incidents.
