Russian drone strikes spark fires at industrial sites in Ukraine’s Poltava region

Industrial facilities in Ukraine’s Poltava region were set ablaze following strikes by Russian drones, according to regional authorities.

The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Dyakivnych, said on Telegram that the attack resulted in direct hits on industrial sites in the Poltava district, triggering fires at the affected locations.

Emergency services were deployed to contain and extinguish the blazes, he added. No casualties have been reported.

An air-raid alert remains in effect across the region.
