Russian forces have continued their aggressive campaign in Ukraine, launching a series of drone strikes on the Chernihiv region, causing significant damage to civilian infrastructure.
According to Ukrainian authorities, private homes, critical facilities, and civilian structures in the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Pryluky districts were struck in the latest wave of attacks, Caliber.Az reports.
The Ukrainian State Emergency Service confirmed that fires ignited by the drone strikes are still being extinguished in several areas. Emergency teams have been working tirelessly to contain the damage, but officials note that some regions remain at risk as the situation continues to unfold.
Preliminary reports suggest there have been no casualties from the attacks, although the full extent of the damage is still being assessed. Local authorities assure that the situation is being carefully monitored and remains under the control of the relevant emergency services.
