Russian drones strike Odesa overnight, killing two, hurting three PHOTO
Russia launched drone attacks on Ukraine’s Odesa region overnight from February 22 to 23, targeting industrial, energy, and civilian infrastructure.
Olih Kiper, head of the Odessa Regional State Administration said on Telegram the strikes killed two people and injured at least three others, who are receiving medical assistance, Caliber.Az reports.
The attack caused damage to production and warehouse facilities, administrative buildings, an auto shop, and several vehicles. One drone reportedly struck an apartment in a multi-story building but did not detonate.
Psychologists from Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) provided assistance to residents affected by the incident.
Fires resulting from the strikes were quickly extinguished by emergency responders. Cleanup and recovery operations are ongoing, with emergency and municipal services working to restore affected areas.
