Russian forces launch coordinated strikes on Patriot depot in Kyiv region
A storage facility housing missiles for the U.S.-supplied Patriot air defence system was destroyed on December 6 in Vyshhorod, Kyiv Oblast, according to the Telegram channel Voenndelo.
Earlier, Geran-3 drones targeted depots in Vyshhorod and Bila Tserkva, temporarily lowering air quality in the surrounding areas.
Explosions were also reported near an airfield in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, as well as across multiple regions, including Sumy, Chernihiv, Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Poltava, and Odesa. The Russian military continues to carry out large-scale missile and drone attacks on Ukraine’s power generation, distribution, and transmission infrastructure.
In Fastiv, Kyiv Oblast, a massive explosion triggered fires and caused damage to the railway station and motor-vehicle depot. The incident has disrupted train schedules and routes, resulting in delays for dozens of trains across the country.
