Russian forces launch strikes on Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia PHOTO
A Russian drone struck the Koriukivka district of Ukraine’s Chernihiv region overnight, hitting a civilian facility and causing a fire.
According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, the blaze broke out at the site of the strike. Ten rescuers, two emergency vehicles, and firefighters from the local volunteer brigade were mobilised to extinguish the flames.

Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties or injuries. Emergency services quickly contained the fire, preventing it from spreading further.
Meanwhile, in the Zaporizhzhia region, three people were injured in Russian attacks over the past 24 hours. Russian forces have launched hundreds of strikes on settlements across the region.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, reported that Russian forces carried out 872 attacks across 25 settlements in the past day.

These included 10 airstrikes and 570 drone strikes, primarily by FPV drones, targeting multiple communities. Additionally, four strikes from multiple-launch rocket systems and 288 artillery attacks hit residential areas and suburbs.
Emergency services received 27 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure. Local authorities continue to assess the aftermath and provide assistance to those affected.
