Russian forces unleash massive assault on Zaporizhzhia 756 strikes in 24 hours

Russian forces launched 756 strikes across 45 settlements in Ukraine’s south-eastern Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours, according to local officials.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration, said three men were wounded in the Zaporizhzhia district as a result of the attacks.

He added that Russian forces carried out 17 air strikes on multiple settlements, including Orikhiv, Yurkovka, Zarechne, Kopani, Novoselivka, Ternuvate, Rovne, Charyvne, Vozdvyzhivka and Verkhnya Terse, among others.

Mass drone activity was also recorded, with 466 unmanned aerial vehicles — mostly FPV drones — targeting the region, including the city of Zaporizhzhia and surrounding areas such as Kamiyshevakha, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka and Stepnohirsk.

The situation across Zaporizhzhia Oblast remains tense, Fedorov said, with authorities reporting ongoing consequences from the sustained bombardment.
