19 May 2026 08:53

Russian forces launched missile strikes on facilities belonging to Ukraine’s state energy company Naftogaz of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the company said on May 19.

According to the company, Russian drone attacks continued throughout the day and overnight, followed by three ballistic missile strikes targeting Naftogaz assets in the region, Caliber.Az reports.

Serhiy Koretsky, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz, said the attacks caused damage and destruction at the facilities, although the full extent of the impact has not yet been determined.

“Drone attacks continued almost continuously throughout yesterday and this night. Russian forces also just launched three ballistic missile strikes on the Group's assets in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast,” Koretsky said in a statement.

He added that no employees were injured in the attacks.

Emergency and technical services have been deployed to the affected sites, while authorities continue to assess the security situation and the consequences of the strikes.
