Russian offensive hits Zaporizhzhia settlements, casualties reported

At least five people have been injured in the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine following a wave of Russian attacks over the past 24 hours, officials have reported.

According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration, Russian forces struck 30 settlements across the region, leaving residential buildings and vehicles damaged.

Authorities have recorded 39 separate reports of property damage.

The attacks involved a range of weapons. Eleven airstrikes targeted populated areas, while over 400 drones, mostly FPV types, were deployed.

In addition, six attacks were carried out using multiple rocket launch systems, alongside 269 artillery strikes.
