Russian prosecutor general arrives in Azerbaijan for COP29 working visit

Igor Krasnov, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, has arrived in Azerbaijan for a working visit, during which he will participate in a high-level plenary session as part of COP29.

Krasnov is also set to hold a series of bilateral meetings with international colleagues during the visit, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media. 

The Russian Prosecutor General's office confirmed that this year, the involvement of law enforcement in the climate summit is being organised by the Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior of the United Arab Emirates.

The aim of the initiative, as stated by the supervisory agency, is to highlight the importance of strengthening the cap.
