Russian shelling leaves multiple injured across southern Ukraine VIDEO
Russia has sustained its military strikes across southern Ukraine, targeting settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions, the Defence Forces of Southern Ukraine reported.
The military noted that Russian aggression continues to affect the civilian population of communities near the frontline. Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 23 shellings across eight settlements.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, specifically in Nikopolshchyna, two people were injured. The strikes damaged multi-storey buildings, private homes, and vehicles. Russian forces also conducted attacks on several districts overnight, causing multiple fires and damaging a hospital.
In the Kherson region, three civilians were wounded. The attacks resulted in damage to multi-storey buildings, private houses, an administrative building, an educational institution, a bank, a bus, and several private cars.
The Zaporizhzhia region saw one person injured from enemy shelling. Damage was reported to private homes, infrastructure facilities, an educational institution, a roadway, and vehicles. Overnight, Russian troops again struck the city, triggering fires and damaging another educational institution.
In the Mykolaiv region, Russian FPV drone attacks targeted the Ochakivska, Kutsurubska, and Galitsynivska communities. The strikes damaged private houses and a hangar belonging to an agricultural enterprise.
The Poltava region was also hit, with strikes causing a fire in a warehouse storing finished products of a local enterprise.
