Russian shelling of Ukraine's Kherson leaves seven civilians injured Including a child
Russia has again subjected Ukraine’s Kherson Region to intense shelling over the past 24 hours, injuring seven civilians, including a child, said the Region’s Military Administration head, Oleksandr Prokudin.
The attack, which was launched at 06:00 on November 25, continued till 06:00 on November 26 local time, Prokudin wrote on his Telegram channel, per Caliber.Az.
He said dozens of settlements came under Russian fire, with strikes carried out by drones, aircraft, and artillery.
Antonivka, Komyshany, Sadove, Bilozerka, Dniprovskе, Kizomys, Razliv, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Sofiivka, Inhulivka, Nykolske, Poniativka, Posad-Pokrovske, Beryslav, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Khreshchenivka, Milove, Dudchany, Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Ukrainka, Novoraisk, Krasnyi Maiak, Novopavlivka, Burhunka, Vesele, and the city of Kherson were all hit by shelling and drone attacks.
Russian forces targeted critical, social, and residential infrastructure. Four apartment buildings and 21 private homes were damaged. A cell tower, a volunteer centre, outbuildings, a shop, gas pipelines, and a private vehicle also sustained significant destruction.
Evacuations from newly liberated settlements continue: seven more residents left the area in the past 24 hours.
