Russian strike on Kyiv region plant leaves four dead PHOTO
Russian forces have struck an industrial facility in Ukraine’s Kyiv region, killing four people. The attack damaged the Yagotynske for Children plant, the State Emergency Service (SES) announced.
Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Mykola Kalashnyk said parts of the building were partially destroyed, and that people may still be trapped under the rubble. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing at the scene.
“According to preliminary information, seven people were injured. Unfortunately, four deaths are currently confirmed. Rescue workers are continuing to clear the rubble. According to available information, two more people may still be under the debris.
All emergency services are working at the site. The aftermath of the attack is being dealt with, and the final extent of the destruction is being established,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Authorities said search and rescue efforts continue as emergency teams work to clear debris and assess the full scale of the damage.
