Russian strike on Ukraine's Khmelnytskyi region leaves one dead

A Russian attack on Ukraine’s Khmelnytskyi region has resulted in the death of one civilian, local authorities have confirmed.

The incident was reported on social media by Serhii Tyurin, Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Caliber.Az informs.

He stated that the fatality occurred as a result of shelling, which claimed the life of a person born in 1953.

“My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones,” Tyurin wrote.

The attack also caused disruptions to electricity supply across parts of the region, with power outages reported in several areas.
