Russian strikes in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region injure six

Six people were injured over the past 24 hours as Russian forces carried out attacks across the Kharkiv Oblast, regional authorities said.

According to Oleh Syniehubov's statement, 12 settlements came under fire during the period, including the regional capital Kharkiv, Caliber.Az reports.

In Kharkiv, three men aged 56, 61 and 34 were wounded, along with two additional men aged 67. In the village of Kurochkine in the Kupiansk hromada, a 64-year-old woman was injured. Medics also treated an 84-year-old woman who had been hurt earlier, on 30 March, in Kolodiazne.

Regional officials said Russian forces used a range of drones in the attacks, including 11 Geran-2 drones, one Molniya drone, four FPV drones and 25 additional unmanned aerial vehicles of unspecified type.

Infrastructure damage was reported across the region. In Kharkiv, four apartment blocks, an educational facility, nine vehicles, power networks, a bus and a civilian enterprise were damaged. Elsewhere in the region, residential buildings, garages, fuel stations, administrative buildings, farms and railway infrastructure were also affected.

Separately, an evacuation transit point in Lozova received 196 people over the past day, bringing the total number of evacuees registered since its opening to 26,989, authorities said.
