Russian strikes injure civilians in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia regions PHOTO
Two people have been injured in separate Russian attacks in Ukraine’s southern regions, according to regional authorities.
In Kherson Oblast, officials said a 64-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman sustained shrapnel injuries, concussion, and torso wounds after an explosion in the settlement of Kamyshany.
The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, the regional administration said.
In a separate incident in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, one woman was injured following Russian strikes on the Zaporizhzhia district.

According to the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, Russian forces carried out 456 strikes over the past 24 hours across 28 settlements in the region.
He said the attacks included three air strikes on Novonikolayivka and Yasna Poliana, as well as hundreds of drone assaults.
“Occupiers carried out 431 UAV attacks of various types (mostly FPV),” he said, adding that there were also artillery and multiple rocket launcher strikes.
Authorities reported damage to infrastructure, residential buildings, and vehicles, with at least 10 separate reports of destruction recorded over the same period.
