Russian strikes kill three, injure 18 in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region PHOTO
Three people were killed and 18 others injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours, Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia’s Military Administration, has stated.
In a post on Telegram, he said Russian forces carried out 975 strikes on 56 settlements during the reporting period, Caliber.Az reports.
The attacks included 24 airstrikes, 712 drone strikes—mostly involving FPV drones—four multiple-launch rocket system attacks and 235 artillery strikes.
Authorities received 95 reports of damage to homes, vehicles and infrastructure.
Earlier, officials reported that three people were killed and eight others injured after a Russian drone struck a minibus in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
Meanwhile, three people were injured in Russian attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to regional authorities.
Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha said Russian forces launched more than 10 drone attacks on four districts.
In the Nikopol district, two men, aged 43 and 65, were hospitalised in moderate condition. The attacks damaged a business, a retail pavilion, an apartment, private houses, and several vehicles.
"In the Dnipro district, Russia struck the Mykolaivka community. A grain warehouse caught fire. A 56-year-old woman was injured and hospitalised in moderate condition," Hanzha noted.
He added that the Kamianske and Synelnykove districts also came under attack.
