Russian strikes leave dead, injured across Kharkiv, Odesa regions PHOTO / VIDEO
Russian attacks targeted 15 settlements across Ukraine’s Kharkiv region over the past 24 hours, local authorities have reported.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said three people were killed and 20 were injured, including two children. Civilian infrastructure sustained significant damage.
In the Odesa district, a nighttime strike damaged both residential and energy facilities. According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, a nine-storey building caught fire, which was quickly extinguished by rescuers on the upper floors.
The attack also hit energy infrastructure and sparked fires at market stalls and a supermarket. Windows were shattered in neighbouring buildings, and vehicles were damaged.
Preliminary reports indicate that one person was injured. Emergency psychologists provided support to 23 residents caught in the attacks.
