Russian strikes rock Odesa ports, grain ship, storage tanks damaged

Russian forces carried out attacks on Ukraine’s southern ports, resulting in significant damage to facilities in Yuzhny and Chornomorsk, Odesa region.

Early reports indicate that one individual sustained injuries. Emergency services are actively responding to the incident and working to contain its consequences, Caliber.Az reports.

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration-Minister for Communities and Territories Development, Oleksii Kuleba, confirmed that the strikes damaged storage tanks containing edible oil at an industrial enterprise.

In addition, a Panamanian-flagged civilian grain ship docked at the port was also impacted. Authorities continue to assess the full extent of the damage.
