Russian tourists delayed at Vietnamese airport following technical issue
Passengers of a Russian airline experienced a two-hour delay at a Vietnamese airport due to technical problems with the aircraft, according to TourDom Telegram channel.
The affected Azur Air passengers were scheduled to fly from Phu Quoc Island to Novosibirsk but were unable to depart and were accommodated within the airport terminal while the issue was addressed.
“A flight delay is necessary to carry out an additional technical inspection; specialists have already begun working,” a spokesperson for the airline stated.
The rescheduled departure is set for 12:00 Moscow time. During the delay, the airline ensured that passengers were provided with hot meals to minimize inconvenience.
Authorities emphasized that the delay was purely technical, and safety protocols were fully observed before clearance for takeoff.
