S. Arabia fully restores East–West oil pipeline following production disruptions
Saudi Arabia has restored full throughput of its East–West oil pipeline, reaching a capacity of 7 million barrels per day, according to a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency.
The ministry said production losses had previously reached around 700,000 barrels per day due to attacks. In addition, output at the Manifa and Khurais oil fields was reduced by approximately 300,000 barrels per day at each site.
Officials confirmed that production at the Manifa field has now been fully restored. At the Khurais field, work to return to full capacity is still ongoing, with completion to be announced later.
The statement added that the rapid recovery reflects the operational resilience and crisis management efficiency of Saudi Aramco and the Kingdom’s broader energy sector, ensuring reliable supply to domestic and global markets.
