Saudi air defences intercept four ballistic missiles targeting Riyadh

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defence announced that the country’s air defence systems intercepted four ballistic missiles launched toward Riyadh.

According to Caliber.Az, citing foreign media reports, the ministry confirmed the interceptions in an official statement, saying: “Four ballistic missiles launched toward Riyadh have been intercepted.”

The ministry added that following the interceptions and the fall of debris, “no damage or casualties have been recorded.”

Authorities in the capital later confirmed that the missile threat had passed.
