Saudi Arabia makes waves with first global marine bunkering firm
Saudi Arabia’s Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Saud has founded Eleven Energy, the kingdom’s first global marine bunkering company.
Eleven Energy, a subsidiary of Eleven Ventures, will have its headquarters in Riyadh, with regional offices in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and Rotterdam, Netherlands. The company has appointed Chris Todd, former global trading head at Delta Energy Fuel Supply & Trading, as its CEO, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ship & Bunker.
According to the company’s website, Eleven Energy aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 agenda, embracing diversification, innovation, and international reach.
“Our aim is to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s footprint in the maritime sector by providing world-class bunkering solutions at key global ports,” the statement reads.
“Our mission extends beyond fuel supply to supporting the kingdom’s broader goals of economic growth and global integration.”
