At the same time, sources said that Saudi Arabia has conditions for both the United States and Israel. From the Americans, they need a defence alliance, supplies of modern weapons and assistance in implementing the civilian nuclear program.

They demand from Israel that the Palestinian issue be resolved based on the two-state principle. According to sources, the kingdom does not want to leave the Palestinian issue aside for all the extremists and terrorists in the region to cling to it.

The source mentioned a number of statements by Israeli ministers about their intention to establish new settlements in the Gaza Strip. He said such statements are a source of problems and fuel for terrorists and extremists in the region.

To recap, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, after negotiations with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, said that he had found support among Arab leaders on the issue of normalizing relations with Israel.

"There is a clear interest in the region to do this, but there is a need for the conflict in Gaza to end and for a practical way to establish a Palestinian state," Blinken said.
