Saudi Arabia, UK discuss defence cooperation in Riyadh talks
Saudi Arabia’s Defence Minister, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, has held a meeting with Jonathan Powell, the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister’s National Security Adviser, during which the sides discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of defence.
Sharing a post on X, Al Saud said the meeting also focused on joint coordination measures aimed at addressing regional challenges and reducing tensions, Caliber.Az reports.
Met with the UK National Security Adviser, Jonathan Powell. We reviewed aspects of the Saudi-British cooperation. We also discussed our joint coordination efforts to address regional challenges and de-escalate tensions in a way that preserves regional security and stability.

Also in attendance were the Saudi Defence Ministry’s adviser on intelligence affairs, the UK Prime Minister’s adviser on business and investment, and the British ambassador to the Kingdom.
