Saudi Arabia warns of response after intercepting drones from Iraq

Saudi Arabia’s air defences intercepted and destroyed several drones that attempted to target oil facilities in the Eastern Province and Riyadh over the past several hours, the Defence Ministry said.

Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki al-Maliki said the drones had been launched from Iraqi territory by Iran-backed militias, Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.

He added that Saudi Arabia reserved the right to respond at a time and place of its choosing.
