Saudi FM engages global leaders over regional tensions

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan conducted a series of phone calls with foreign ministers from multiple countries to discuss regional developments, including recent Iranian attacks.

During the talks, he reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining stability and security in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, Caliber.Az reports via the Saudi Foreign Ministry.

The calls were held with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, as well as Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

In the phone call, Turkish and Saudi foreign ministers also discussed efforts to halt the ongoing war in the region, according to the Anadolu agency.
