Saudi MFA: Israeli attacks on Yemen harm Gaza truce efforts
The Saudi Foreign Ministry has expressed deep concern over Israeli Air Force attacks on the Yemeni port of Hudaydah, stating that these actions undermine efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is following with great concern the development of military escalation in Yemen following the Israeli attacks on Saturday in Al Hodeidah province, which are doubling the existing tensions in the region and harming the ongoing efforts to end the war in the Gaza Strip," the ministry in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
Similarly, Kuwait's Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the same social network, reiterating its support for initiatives aimed at restoring security and stability in Yemen. "The state supports efforts to restore security and stability in Yemen and spare its brotherly people from further suffering," the statement read.
