At least 16 people have been injured in a school shooting in Türkiye, with the student gunman taking his own life.
Most of those injured are pupils. One student is said to be in a critical condition, NTV reported.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack.

An armed attack at a school in south-eastern Türkiye has left at least seven people injured and prompted a hostage situation involving students.
The incident took place in the district of Siverek in Şanlıurfa Province, where a pupil reportedly entered the school armed with a shotgun and opened fire, Turkish media reports.
Authorities said several students were briefly taken hostage during the incident before security forces and emergency services were deployed to the scene.
