Serbia extends oil export ban through October 31

Serbia’s government, currently operating under a technical mandate, has extended its temporary ban on oil and petroleum product exports through October 31, according to RTV.

The decision was published in the Official Gazette, extending a restriction first introduced in March and subsequently renewed several times.

The government has maintained the export ban as a measure to safeguard the domestic market against potential shortages and higher prices amid volatility in global oil markets.

The authorities have also extended a 25% cut in excise duties on petroleum products until October 4.
