Serbian president voices strong condemnation of Iranian strikes on UAE
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has condemned the recent Iranian attacks on the United Arab Emirates during a meeting with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
As Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media, Vučić arrived in the Emirates on a previously unannounced visit.
“I have expressed the strongest condemnation of the attacks on the UAE in these difficult and troubling circumstances. At a time when the Middle East faces serious challenges, and the consequences of conflicts and instability extend far beyond the region, it is important to show support to friends and take responsibility in the pursuit of peace and stability,” Vučić wrote on his social media account.
The visit comes amid heightened regional tensions, and since late February, Serbia has evacuated more than 300 of its citizens from the UAE.
