Several heads of state confirm attendance to Global Baku Forum 2025
The 12th Global Baku Forum will take place in March 2025 with the participation of three foreign presidents.
The following heads of state have confirmed their attendance: President of Albania Bajram Begaj, President of North Macedonia Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova and President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović, Caliber.Az reports citing local media outlets.
The platform will also welcome other foreign governmental officials from March 13-15 in Baku, including the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur Maimunah Mohd Sharif, UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations Miguel Ángel Moratinos, and UNCTAD Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan.
The Global Baku Forum is an annual event that brings together leaders from the public and private sector, as well as the world of sciences and civil society. It is a strategic platform designed to encourage thoughtful debates over the world's most pressing challenges and find common solutions. Previous events were hosted under the following themes: "Fixing the Fractured World", “Building Trust for a Wider Europe”, “World After COVID-19", “A New World Order”, “Towards a Multipolar World”, “Addressing/Challenging Radicalization and Extremism with Interfaith Dialogue for Peace" and “Geopolitics in the Age of Sustainable Development.”
