Severe dust storm forces Moscow–Termez flight off course

A passenger flight from Moscow to Termez in Uzbekistan was forced to abruptly change course after encountering severe weather conditions.

Flight PBD733, operated by Pobeda Airlines, diverted to an alternate airport after the crew made the decision to reroute, according to a report by Uzbek media.

The Telegram channel “Tashkent Sky News” reported that the diversion was caused by a powerful dust storm affecting the destination area.

As a result, the aircraft was redirected to Samarkand International Airport.
